LIFE AND TIMES: LOVE ONES

It's Sunday morning! Something or someone is missing.

My neighbor has this display in their living room in remembrance of his wife of fifty years, she passed away during Christmas time.  Since then they have left this up; this is not the first time I have seen something like this, a lot of people do things like this for someone they love.  They may keep things up or do special things, like visiting the  graves site on a certain day in remembrance of a love one.  The word is love one, as Christians know they are in a better place.  But we still miss them in are heart when they have played a big part of your life for such a long, sometimes a short period of time. There are things or times with them we will never forget.
All the older people are leaving one by one; some are not that old, we call them mother, father, brothers, sisters, family, friends and neighbors.  Your neighbor who watch you grow up, they were there for each birthday, holiday, graduation, and other special events in your life, like when you had to say good bye to your love ones.  My other neighbor use to make me and other family members birthday cakes.  We did not expect it, I did not but the next thing I knew, she would come over with a birthday cake, up until the last year before she past.

Remembering someone close to you can be good.  You are do the same for someone else, a memory of you in their mind.  By waking a person up this morning, greeting them on your way from home, on the street, in church, it  will go in their memory bank.
In the old days even non-family would give you a cards with money in them, and of course, make you a birthday cakes.
