The day is about freedom and independance. That is a good feeling.

I like the days where we can sit, enjoy the sun and barbeque.  However, I love being independence.  We take so much for granted in the USA, that sometimes we don't think about those who fought so that we can be independence.  A job you can work away from it, if you are not happy, the only problem is you won't get paid.  People walk a way from many things these days by choice that is what independence is all about.  We have the liberty to have choices.
