What does your morning look like?

A good night's sleep may not happen.



 

 

 

 

 

 

 


You can see the light shining through the window when you open your eyes. It's a new day. Did you have a peaceful night's sleep? You should feel refreshed from a good night's sleep, but it may not happen. 


 A restful sleep makes us feel good the next day. You can sleep better in some ways. Another benefit is that you feel more alert. Energy comes from a good night's sleep, also. 


What does your morning look like when you have not had a good amount of rest? Your morning may not go smoothly, nor your day.


Try to have a good night's sleep. There are things you can do like:

  1. Plan on getting enough sleep.  

  2. Don't overwhelm yourself with too many thoughts at night.

  3. Do the little things that can create peaceful rest.  

  4. Don't eat a lot before bed. 

  5. Don't discuss things that will not cause you to sleep well. 

  6. Do what you can for the next day, such as wash, or get clothes ready.

     

    We want a good night's sleep to feel refreshed and more alert.
